Well, it was not exactly dry on Saturday, in fact it has been the first rainy day in ages but I had to stay dry and was denied any water related activities including surfing due to a nasty chest infection. So this weekend’s wave wrap will be rather short…
I have to admit, Saturday looked highly surfable. Yes there was rain. But there was also a building South swell and no wind. I’ve only seen it in the morning. According to my mates, it was super crowded in the avo despite the average weather and not as good as it looked. Not sure if that’s true or if they just wanted to make me feel better for not being able to surf.
Sunday, still not quite ready to face the chilly water, I ventured out for a walk instead. At least it was pretty clear I did not miss out on anything. Well not in Bondi anyway. It was 4-6ft closing out and super messy. No one out. It may have been good up or down the coast. It was still so nice to be out and about and soak up the sun. I just ended up watching the big waves from a rock rolling in for a while. Even though they were messy, they were still pretty.
Tomorrow morning might still be a tad big for Bondi and closing out. Tuesday, definitely Wednesday, looks more like the surf conditions for Bondi which works well for me by then I should have returned to full gidget strength.
Have a nice week everyone
x Clauds
